My Eating Habits

Recently, I just finished participating in a 30 Day PALEO Challenge, which you can read all about HERE!


USUALLY I eat a mixture of Paleo/Clean eating.... but most of the time I am 100% Paleo & Gluten Free!


Paleo:
Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat.


 Clean Eating:


  • Eat 5-6 Small Meals a Day
  • Eat every 2-3 Hours
  • Drink at Least 2 Liters of water each day
  • Never miss a meal, especially breakfast
  • Avoid all over-processed foods, refined foods, especially white flour and sugar
  • avoid all saturated and trans fat
  • No soda or Sugary Juices
  • No Alcohol
  • Avoid all calorie dense foods with no nutritional value
  • Depend on fresh fruits and veggies for fiber, vitamins and enzymes
  • Stick to proper portion sizes.... Give up super sizing!


What do I allow myself as "sanity savers?"

  • Cheese
  • Greek Yogurt
  • Whole Milk 
***ALWAYS full fat  dairy products!
