What I ate


Had one of those days where I didn't have time to cook breakfast, didn't have time to cook lunch....

Basically It would have been an AWESOME day to have had pre-prepared meals ready to go!

I'm definitely thinking of bringing those back next week!


 Breakfast: Banana. and my sick sister in the backround!


 Lunch: Chicken Tortilla Soup


Dinner: Veggies (name & recipe will come later) Potatoes, Chicken & Butternut Squash. 



Goals, Clothes & a WOD


The better I begin to feel about myself, the more I am becoming obsessed with CLOTHES. Especially on Pinterest....

I have a huge urge to get out and spend money on beautiful clothes...

But BESIDES the fact that I have no money, I am NOWHERE close to the end of my weightloss journey :)

To wait till I'm closer & buy smaller clothes? Or to buy new clothes now....and then??


Decisions, decisions. 

My GOALS for this week are pretty simple. 

Now that the Halloween craze is over, I am surrounded by a lot LESS temptations. 

My goals for the rest of this week is to continue eating clean and stay AWAY from that pesty Sugar :)

I also am making sure I DO NOT skip anymore workouts!

Oh...and I am WEIGHING IN ON SUNDAY!

We'll see how it goes.... Last week I did great buttttttt..... With all the little cheats here and there that came with the Halloween atmosphere, I'm afraid it will be affecting my weigh-in by the end of this week!



This workout is def going to KICK MY BUTT

Despite my workouts, I still have a LONG way to go in the name of conditioning and endurance. 

Last time we did a workout that was a rowing & running combo, I was LAST to finish!

I'm hoping to compete with myself from last time, and improve. 

(I will probably still be the last one in the class)

Voted for the First Time!!


This was the first election I was FINALLY old enough to vote!

Everyone makes voting seem so wonderful - it was actually allot of hard work!

I literally researched EVERYTHING on the ballot before going in....a Tedious 2 hour process. 

Does everyone take this measure before voting?

I felt like it would be irresponsible to vote without looking everything up, but I HIGHLY doubt everyone who votes does this...?

Just something I have been thinking about alll day! ;)

Anyways:


I was SO sad I did not get to the gym to do my Rock the Vote Wod with the class :(

It was just one of those days after work where you said Gym? NO, sweatpants...

I ate pretty well today!

 Breakfast - Scrambled Eggs, Avacado & Coffee!
(yes coffee....I CAVED! It's SO HARD to quit!)
 Lunch - Chicken, Cauliflower & Orange Cauliflower!
Snack- Almonds

Dinner: Chicken in Delicious Butternut Squash Sauce


Highlight of the Day:

My Mom called me skinny!

& I fit into a pair of jeans mint skinny jeans I bought last winter that were TOO TIGHT when I bought them. 

It's happy because they finally fit, but sad because they are a little baggy and I will outgrow them soon!

Workout, Food & Love!

I Had an AWESOME Monday!



This workout was so fun!

My total load for the first part was: 935 lbs

Total Reps was: 154

I Love "fight gone bad" format because you are really competing with yourself!



Food:
 Breakfast: Scrambled Eggs


 Snack: Edamame

Lunch: Left Over Roast & Potato

Snack: Almonds

Dinner: Sweet Potato, bbq chicken, salad & cauliflower


I have a family very close to me that I LOVE dearly that is having a hard time right now.

My prayers, thoughts and positive energy will be with them tonight!

I hope everyone had as an amazing Monday as I did!

Fitting into those OLD JEANS!!!!!


(YAY these jeans fit again!)


Went on a FUN date with my Boyfrand to a dinner theater last night!!!

(thanks Groupon for making that affordable)

All the jeans I have bought in the past year are now TOO  BIG!!! YAY!

Every time I pull something out of my closet I haven't worn in over two years, Try it on and IT FITS, I feel a huge weight lift off my shoulders...

I guess I never realized how much it bothered me that I couldn't fit into my clothes?!!

I know I spent a long time making excuses for myself and hiding the small clothes in the back of my closet. 

Now I am in the middle of a weird phase.... 

1/2 my clothes are too big
1/4 fit
1/4 are still too small

Being the poor college student that I am, I can't really go BUY a ton of new clothes like I used to be able to!

THE GOOD NEWS:

I am feeling SO MUCH BETTER ABOUT MYSELF. 

It's not that I have really lost a TON of weight, because I think I'm probably still in the 140's. 

CrossFit and Eating clean have just given me an amazing feeling....

I have much more self confidence, I finally feel like I'm worthy of dressing nice and doing my hair everyday...

As opposed to wearing sweatpants & unkempt hair - something I didn't even realize I was doing to myself!


What Now?

Now I am just OBSESSIVELY following J's Everyday Fashion - HOPING that I can replicate some of her outfits without having to buy new clothes. (not possible, her clothes are SO cute).

Oh, and I have officially been doing CrossFit for 1 month, and been eating clean/exercising for 5 Months!!!!

Seduced by Candy Corn


My whole life, I have had a certain love for Fall/Halloween Season. 

Not because of the cooler weather. 

Not Halloween...


But more importantly....


CANDY CORN PUMPKINS!!!

Last year (no wonder I gained so much weight?) I would go to the store a couple times a week and buy a few bags of these...only to demolish them within a day or two!


Looking back at last year, I was DISGUSTED with how much of that Nasty/Sugary Candy I ate & ate & ate....


I have been very proud of myself, because I have NOT bought ANY candy corn this year. If I bought even a little, I would eat it ALL. 


But. of course, temptation finds us. 

We had a Halloween Party for the kids at my work, and we have a HUGE bag of candy corn leftover. 

WORST OF ALL ITS ALREADY OPEN!

For any recovering sugar/food addicts like me, you know this is a BAD situation. 

The candy Corn had been at my work for a week now and I have been so strong...

BUT TODAY I ATE A TON OF CANDY CORN!
I guess  I had to cave at some point!

I don't feel AWFUL about it, just mad that I broke my 2012 No Candy Corn Streak!

Where Have I Been?


MIA?

Yes. I suppose you all thought I had a fabulous Halloween?

Nope - just did HOMEWORK all night!

Highlight of my Halloween: Going to Chipolte and Getting a 2$ Burrito

I did not even get to do my AWESOME plan of working out in a costume :,(

Homework, homework, homework

I've reached that point in my Semester of school where the teachers start to cram all the stuff we haven't don yet!

I feel like I'm CRAMMING everything in my life together!

Today I will be preparing for a Science exam and a Speech Tomorrow!
