Job Interviews, CrossFit & Staying Motivated!

I started out my day by going to a Job Interview!!! I was going for the business profesh look hahah!

What do you think I should do this Summer?

Work 2 jobs and save money for next year, or enjoy myself while it lasts and work 1 job before I start my junior year of College?

(Personally, I'm leaning towards the 2nd option)

Breakfast: 2 fried eggs served omelette style & an avocado

 Lunch: Chicken & Hummus Salad

Snack: Strawberries

Dinner: Famous Dave's BBQ Chicken, Ribs & Green Beans AGAIN!
The boyfriend and I have some FREE coupons we need to finish off before they expire in the end of May!!
BBQ Overload this month!

I LOVED This workout!!! I was able to hit 95lbs on my push press and I did not even catch my time at the end of the dog sleds because I pretty much passed out on the floor, but they were HARD

Just me, dead on the floor after pushing the sled!!!

Tomorrow I have a Training ALL DAY (8 am to 5 pm) for my new/summer job so I packed up a days worth of snacks/meals:

I LOVE feeling prepared and motivated!!!!!! Ever since I have started instagram I have been SUPER motivated to eat as clean as possible and get back into the whole weight loss thing!

What do you do to stay motivated?

Almost Paleo Pasta!!

For those of you who don't know, I like to think that I eat 80% Paleo.

I got this mindset out of a Paleo Diet book I was reading!

80% Keeps you sane, and ON TRACK

I have lost an average of 1 lb a week doing this!

I know your looking at this and going PASTA??!! How is PASTA Paleo??!!

Well I have news for you...

Whole foods has this delicious brand of noodles made out of Quinoa Flour! Totally Paleo!

Now, whats the 20% that is not Paleo in this dish?

CHEESE

I have not cut cheese out of my diet... and I probably NEVER will!

Bear with me- I am not into measurements, so just season with ingredients to your liking!

Ingredients:
Quinoa Macaroni Noodles
Italian Blend Cheese
Olive Oil
Pesto
Italian Seasonings
Parmesan Cheese
Garlic Salt

Step 1: Cook the pasta according to the box and drain

Step 2: Drizzle the noodles with olive oil

Step 3: Toss in the Seasonings & Pesto to Taste

Step 4: Sprinkle in Italian blend cheese

Step 5: Pour the mixture into a casserole pan and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and Bake for 5 minutes at 400 degrees

ENJOY!!!!!

***Note: I will NOT bet eating my leftovers tomorrow, because this is kind of a sanity saver (almost paleo, but with a little extra to keep me sane) ...

I'll be saving this for my next round of cravings :)

My Biceps Hurt

Today's workout was CRAZY!!!!

I am EXHAUSTED right now! I can tell you now my arms will be sore tomorrow!

But let me tell you, I felt GREAT after the workout!

The only problem is, I am having a hard time motivating myself to actually get to the gym!!

I never regret BEING there and I LOVE the workouts....

But when it comes time to put on my shoes and gym clothes, I always seem to start to talk myself out of going!!

Does anyone else struggle with motivation??

What do you do to keep yourself active and motivated to workout??

Food:

(I only ate one of these)

Yes.. I had breakfast TWICE today!

I ate dinner at my house, and my mom made some kind of chicken in a thick sauce...

Unfortunately, I saw the ingredients she used in the sauce, the main one being brown sugar.
(she also did not make enough for everyone)

Since I am trying to avoid excess sugars , I opted to make eggs for dinner!

Hey, I had no problem with it... Breakfast is my FAVORITE meal of the day!

Weigh In... I'm a LOSER ;)

I Lost another Pound!!!!

So if I'm on my way to weighing 120 lbs.... I have 26 more pounds to go!

Only 26 more weeks until I'm there!!!!

It SOUNDS like allot...but it really isn't.

I think I GAINED All this weight in less than that...

So 6.5 months left if I lose 1 pound a week from now on ;)

Start: 157
Current: 146
Goal: 120

and here is a little image I needed to remind myself WHY I am doing this the hard way, and not on a crash diet.

I have lost that + 1!!!!!

I am not on a crash diet.. Merely eating healthy & exercising.

The weight is taking care of itself.

I do not want to jeopardize my MUSCLE..just get rid of fat ;)

Thanks to those who check in on me, you guys are a great support!
