Halloween, Hill Workout and Wedding Plans!

This year I celebrated Halloween at school!




My friends and I were the 3 Blind Mice. Can you tell we are all a bunch of Elementary Ed Majors!!??
I love being in classes with people who share similar passions to me.
We were the only people walking around campus in costume.. and we LOVED it!

I got in this AWESOME Hill workout this week. Jeff and I have been really into riding our bikes 3 miles to a park by our house and working out outside while the weather is SO nice!!


 Gecko Push-ups... I love them, but I hate them. I especially Hated doing them up hill.

ALSO Jeff and I have officially BOOKED our Venue!! Its at a pretty little place called the Shendoah Mill. I stole these pretty pictures off their website, because my phone really didn't do it justice:







This is where we will hold our ring ceremony and quaint little reception! We are so excited. We always wanted a cute little, simple reception and we think we found the PERFECT place for us! We are in LOVE! Now to figure out where we are holding our open house the next weekend......

Tabata Workout, Couples Yoga & Food Log!

 Workout:

The workout I did today was a Tabata wod, if you have a HIIT timer it's SO easy to do!

20 seconds non stop work, then 10 seconds rest - 8 rounds. 
It ends up being EXACTLY 12 Minutes long!!! 



Jeff and I have a new goal (because I need motivation to stretch and be more flexible) to conquer one partner yoga pose a week!!

This week we started with the easiest one we could find and we will move our way up!

I love coming up with new ways to challenge each other and keep that healthy mindset as a couple!

I have decided I HAVE to go back to logging my food (via pictures). 

I am determined to lose the last 10-15 lbs!!

That being said, I did very well on my eating today. 


My percentages were just about perfect. 

I eat to my body - and the best way for me to maintain weightloss/lose weight. 

For my body, eating a lower carb and higher fat/protein diet works amazing!

Meals:
  Breakfast: 2 eggs scrambled over Broccoli

 Lunch: 2 Hard Boiled Eggs w/ 1 cup of Strawberries

 Snack: Some old Watermelon

Dinner: Grilled Pork Chop & More Brocolli

 Dessert: Cookie Dough Quest Bar!! 
I LOVE these things!!! I bought them today in case of emergencies to keep me from eating sweets!
Of course I had an "emergency" tonight and HAD to crack one open! ;)


If I ate like I did today EVERYDAY I would lose eight pounds in 5 weeks. 

That would be AMAZING!

W.O.D. 7/4/12 Legs

Just a little motivation to get today started with a workout before Fourth of July Festivities....


Here is my W.O.D for the Day:

Light 1 Mile Jog a.m.

P.m.:

4 Sets Seated Leg Curls 15-20 Reps

4 Sets Dunbbell lunges 12-20 Reps

4 Sets Barbell Squat 15-20 Reps

4 Sets Barbell Deadlift 20-25 Reps

As always, ending it with a fun little ab workout.. Thats right I said FUN:

W.O.D. 7/3/12

My workout of the day is going to be SO fun today!

Today I will be:

Taking 1 hour of Fitness Pilates from Lifetime Fitness
(if you don't belong to a gym check out Blogilates)

Doing 45 mins of Cardio on an Elliptical

and ending with this ab workout:


Tonight I will Include my first "Photo Diet" collection for the day!

W.O.D/Photo Challenge

My Workout of the Day is as follows:

5 a.m. Jog 1 Mile

P.m. - Dumbbell Workout

10 Shoulder Press
10 Squats
10 Curls
10 Lunges
10 Tricep Extensions
10 Sumo Squats
10 T Push Ups

3 Rounds with 1 minute plank between rounds


My New Goal for the Week is to try Something I'm Naming the "Photo Diet"

My goal is to take a picture of EVERYTHING I eat, every day for the next week and post it here ....

That way I will be held accountable!!
