Weigh In & Food From the Weekend!

Before we start I just want to share this I found on pinterest the other day about CrossFit:

"You will LOSE FAT and GAIN MUSCLE. We will replace it with FUNCTIONAL strength that you can actually use in life! We understand that part of the weight gain is due to inflammation in the muscle and retention of water. We understand this is normal and we URGE YOU… THROW OUT THE SCALE because in the end.. it doesn’t f-ing matter." -Crossfit Coach Kevin Hughes

Over the past few weeks I haven't weighed in.

I feel like my mentality towards what my body should be like has CHANGED because of this.

I want to be strong - I want to be fast - I want Muscles.

I find myself less concerned with being skinny, & thin....

Though the more I DO crossfit the more I FEEL thin...Does this make sense???

Anyways, Today I weighed in at 144 lbs!

That is a loss of 2 lbs since the last time I weighed in!

I'm thinking it may be more though because I'm EXTREMELY sore from Friday & Sat's workout still.

So Next week I am going to weigh myself a few times and see how often my weight fluctuates!!!

Like always I want to compare this to my starting pic at 157 lbs:

Total of 13 lbs fat loss!

Also, look! My Butt Shrunk!! My boyfriend tells me everyday to do squats so it will get big again hahahhaha!

Food From the Weekend:

THE BEST DINNER EVER RIGHT HERE

Steak, roasted avacado, asparagus, brocolli....

YUM I was in FOOD HEAVEN

oh, and this:

It seems like once a week, I find myself in a situation where I will be having a dessert.

Last night it was a milkshake.

When I first started this journey, I would be DEVASTATED if I cheated and had dessert....

But now I'm more along the lines that once a week is oh-kay, as long it STAYS a once a week thing ;)

Today I am going shopping with my sister like I have been wanting to do for so long!!!! I'm SO EXCITED

It's finally getting a little more chilly here....CUTE WINTER CLOTHES!!!

I hope everyone has a great 3-day weekend!

  1. That's awesome!! Well done :)
CrossFit definitely does change your body and your attitude.
I still check my weight but I am no longer obsessed with the number because I can see the changes in my body and I know I am getting much stronger.
