Weightlifting Workout & Weigh In!




Hey everyone!

Today was another very happy day. 

I have definitely been enjoying this time off from work and school!
(although my bank account keeps shrinking)

I spent my day lounging around, working out and pinning many adorable outfits on pinterest, which spurred me to go on a shopping trip...(like I said, bank account shrinking).

I had an AWESOME workout today!

I was able to hit:
front/back squat: 105 lbs
Press: 60 lbs
Deadlift: 165 lbs


Then, tonight I realized I haven't done a weigh in/ progress picture post in a while!!!

This prompted me to take some really awkward selfies & dirty bathroom mirror pics. 

SO CLICHE OF ME!

Everyday I weigh myself just to see, and my weight fluctuates daily from 138-140 lbs. 

Lately I have had friends tell me I am looking more toned and tight.... but my weight is not dropping!

I'm okay with staying around this weight (although I acknowledge I still have a few more lbs to lose), I am very happy and I have been gaining allot of muscle!!!
...................
I am jealous of all the other bloggers out there who have someone basically take a photo shoot of them everyday...

How do they find someone willing to take their picture EVERY DAY!!??

I'm sure my Jeff would be glad to take my pictures, but it seems like something he would get tired of FAST!

For now, I will just have to settle for awkward selfies & half body mirror pics!

  1. Crossfit is like a foreign language to me...no clue what half of that means! :)

    You look great! Also, I wonder the same thing about other bloggers...who takes all these pictures and has time to edit? Not me!

    I see loads of bloggers having amazing pictures of themselves..I have neither the camera nor the person to take em...

  3. You are gorgeous, Dani. I tried to incorporate weight training in my routine a few months back. But then I noticed I either gain some weight or maintain. I am not happy. So, my goal for now is losing to gaining. BTW, I have link back to you the Liebster Award. you nominate me last week. I'm having so much fun. Thanks for choosing me. I feel loved.
