Photo Diet 8/30/12


Tomorrow I am going CAMPING!

I am so excited, because I have never been before!!!

With that being said, I will not be posting this weekend!

Here is what I ate today:









I just stocked up on fresh fruits and I am on a total fruit kick right now!

Yesterdays workout kicked my butt I LOVED IT!

It definitely helped that Jeffrey ran with me. 

I was lacking motivation to go alone...

But not today people!

This is just a general bodyweight workout, and good for me because I have limited time!

Workout & Motivation

Today I am STRUGGLING to motivate myself to workout. 

Has this ever happened to you?

I have no good reason to be so un-motivated today. 

I'm not sore

I'm not sick

I have PLENTY of time

and yet all I want to do is curl up in my bed to take a nap!!!

Instead I am going to try and push myself, to at least be active today!

Today was an interesting day!

The whole day was full of surprises...Some good and some not so good.

Let's just say it was one of the days where I looked at the clock at work thinking hours had gone by...

and in reality only fifteen minutes had passed.

Photo Diet 8/27/12

Today was a great food day!!!

By that I mean: 

I feel like I ate great & I my body agrees with me!

Breakfast:
 2 Fried eggs & Paleo Coffee

Snack:
 Celery & Hummus

Lunch:
 Chicken Breast

Snack:
100 Calorie Chocolate Almonds & Dried Apples

Snack:
 100% Juice - No Sugar Added Juice Box


Dinner:
Teryaki Chicken Bowl with Veggies!!

Sunday - Bacon Day!!


Sunday is BACON DAY!!!

a.k.a I found out Bacon had tons of nitrate in it (cancer causing things?) That are apparently very bad for you.

So I vowed that I would only eat bacon on Sunday. 

Hence - Bacon Day!

Breakfast:


Snack:
 Coco Roasted Almonds, my new obsession!

Snack:
BACON!


After these two snacks I was pretty full for most of the day. 

And also I knew ahead of time that dinner would be served early and I guess I didn't end up eating lunch!!

Which is OKAY with me because dinner tonight was not Paleo one bit.

I don't have pics because I was at dinner with my boyfriends parents and they had company over...

I thought it might be rude to whip out my phone and start giving my plate a photo shoot, right???

So for dinner (obviously unpictured) was:

Enchiladas
Watermelon
1 Bread roll

& Snickers Pie Dessert (naughty)

All in all, a very non paleo dinner. 
(and also a random selection of food?)

But you know what, sometimes there are going to be instances where I am not always going to have a Paleo option!






Sunday Weigh In, Lost Another Pound!!!!


This week was another great week!

I'm finally getting back into the groove of college after summer break, and I'm so happy that I am able to be much HEALTHIER than I was at this time last year!

Today I weighed in at 151!!!!

I lost another pound!!!!!


I am so ready to be out of the 150's!!!!!!!

This puts me at a total of six pounds lost in 9 weeks!

Yay!!!

I hope everyone has an amazing and relaxing Sunday, I will be Studying away!

Photo Diet! 8/25/12

My workout today was a MAJOR disappointment. 

Usually on Saturdays there is an AMAZING Zumba instructor who's class is VERY hard and keeps me in high level cardio the whole hour... aka me panting and sweating really pathetically. 

Today however, a Male instructor was substituting the Zumba class. 

At first I was like hey, cool a dude is teaching Zumba!

Then the music started and the dancing was lame...and slow..and I was NOT sweating or huffing and puffing...

I think the only thing I was doing was feeling ridiculous for copying his moves!

I ended up leaving the class 30 minutes early in hopes of getting a better cardio workout on the elliptical. 

Which I did. 

Do you ever attend a gym class and feel like you want to leave because you don't like the instructor?

Anyways, here is what I ate today:

Breakfast:
 2 eggs scrambled


Study Snack:
 Dark Chocolate

Lunch?
 Protein Smoothie
 & Veggie Platter

Dinner:
I went to a BBQ for Dinner and had DELICIOUS Turkey steak, Brocolli Salad and Watermelon. 

I said no to the delicious smelling homeade rolls AND the snickers ice cream pie. 

It wasn't even HARD I didn't crave them at all!

Unfortunately I suffered from stomach issues all night.... does eating too much broccoli screw up your digestive system??!!!!!
