I started out my day by comparing what I have been able to accomplish in the past 10 months...
The left my first Day in July 2012 weighing 157 lbs, the right my last weigh in April 2013 @ 138 lbs!
When I put these two pictures side by side I was SHOCKED!
I did not realize what a BIG difference was made!
Maybe only I notice because it is my body...
But my face & boobs & waist have DEFINITELY gotten smaller!!!
It's amazing what (almost) a year of mostly clean eating and going to the gym at least 3 days a week will give you!!
I'm SO HAPPY I decided to change my life!!! Everyday I feel healthier & happier about my body!
I can't wait to see what the future holds and I am SO EXCITED TO ROCK A BIKINI THIS SUMMER!
Also,
I FINALLY made an instagram, and that was one of the pictures I posted yesterday!!!

Day 2:
Breakfast: Smoothie.
Banana, Strawberries, Milk.
Lunch: Famous Daves
2 ribs, 1/4 of a chicken & green beans
Dinner: Some kind of chicken cooked in a pineapple salsa? With mixed Veggies & fruit!
(my sweet boyfriends mom invited us over for dinner and cooked this in my honor, knowing I was doing a Paleo Challenge!)
***Then she invited me over the next day for enchiladas... which I politely declined ;)
I did well on my graph today (I am going for more fat and protein, less carbs) so this made me happy!
And THEN I made a grocery list for when I get my next pay check!!!
(that means I don't need these for the week-week food, just frivolous spending) ;)
I've been thinking allot about how I can make my lifestyle more "liveable".
I'm not one of those people who could be hardcore Paleo FOREVER!!!
But I have decided I LOVE being gluten free.
I started doing research last night about a few different things I could add back into my diet
(in proper proportions).
I have been looking through the AWESOME blog Mark's Daily Apple and if you search his website, you will find he has gone through the different health benefits/negative aspects of ALLOT of foods!!!!
Things like:
Steel Cut Oats
Brown Rice?
I'm going to keep researching the best gluten-free, almost paleo things that fall under the EAT CLEAN category!
Do you eat rice? Steel cut oats?
What type of eating plan do you follow?
I am 85-90% Paleo, I drink beer. Can't get rid of it.
ReplyDeleteI have tried Whole 30 and they are not for me.
I don't eat any breads, rice, pasta or the like, have no interest in them.
I don't consume dairy, other than eggs. I thought this would be the hardest and it was the easiest!
I think you need to find what works for your body and go with it.
The difference in your face is amazing!
I occassionaly add dairy in (like in smoothies) but I no longer drink milk with meals/eat yogurt, ect.!!!! How do you feel about pb2?? I was thinking of giving it a try (even though its VERY processed)! Thanks for stopping by!!!!! :) xoxo Dani!

Congrats on your 10 months of blogging! You've done such a great job, and wow! What a difference :) Can't wait to follow how you'll be doing in the next 10 months!
ReplyDeleteI'm totally off any grains and rice. I find that it doesn't agree with me at all, even quinoa. It kinda sucks coz' quinoa was such a great thing to have with vegetables, but now I'm just having the vegetables without.
That's awesome that you have found what works with your body!!!!! I have been thinking allot about experimenting with different things... just to see what I can and cannot add back into my diet!!! Sometimes I have NO cravings and somtimes I am STILL bombarded with longing for anything that tastes like bread! Now that I have been using instagram I have been following ALLOT of people who seem to be getting allong well occassionally eating steel cut oats and thought I'd give it a try!!! Thanks for stopping by :)
Deletexoxo Dani!

DeleteYou look great! I've been thinking about going Paleo, but I have trouble giving up beer. I was off rice and pasta, but the last two weeks those seem to be themes. I know how much better I feel without them! Good job in 10 months!
