A Not So Happy Sunday Weigh In.

This blog is like a diary for me...

When I created it, I committed to recording the Ups and Downs of my Weightloss/Get Fit Journey.

Along the way, while writing happy success posts, I forgot that sometimes I will have truths to write that wont be so happy at all.

Something to remember.

So today when I weighed myself, I thought - I am DEFINITELY not logging this on my blog.

But then I realized that that would defeat the whole purpose behind my blog.

This is a real life weight loss story.

There are ups and there are downs.

I'm not perfect.

I need to be true to myself and write everything

So today, I weighed in at

150 lbs

I won't make excuses.

I know that the hot dog and brownie I ate last night didn't make me gain weight over night.
Yep.
All I can do is re-examine what I did last week and push harder this week.

Now that I have had that depressing moment over with, I want to recap the Good things I have done so far on this journey.

My Accomplishments:

I've lost 7 lbs!

I can run 3 Miles without stopping!

My jeans are getting Baggy!

I can Crossfit with my Boyfriend without Complaining!

& I am building Confidence.

I will check in again later today to write goals for the week.

Also, I have been contemplating joining an actual crossfit gym.

Thoughts on that?!

  1. Hey Dani sorry to hear you gained weight! But hey your accomplishments sound great and I congratulate you for them!

I also congratulate you because you dealt with it and have to motivation and fierce to leave a bad week behind and get your ass back there.

Have a good one and keep up the good work, you are doing great!

    EMILIO!

PS: I've never tried crossfit but I looked it up and everyone that does it seems to have kick ass bodies and totally marked abs! I wouldn't mind looking like that at all where do I sign!?

  3. Hello and congratulation!
No problem if you gain weight. The problem is that you say "push harder this week. ". So it sounds like war against your body!
Years ago I lost 20 kilos without any "war" against my wishes or my body. How: just look for the reason WHY do you eat!
Since more than 10 years I have my dream shape and I do not think wether or not I can eat or what I eat. I do not feel like "push" something.
So my idea: find the reason for your eating (too much/wrong things) and you will loose weight forever and you will never again be concerned by "push harder".
    best regards from Germany,
    Andrea
