Workout of the Day & Quitting Coffee


Today was my FIRST day morning without coffee in over 6 years. 

This morning was so WEIRD for me. 

It has grown to be part of my process of "waking up" to make the walk to the kitchen and pour a warm cup of coffee...

So Today when I woke up, I walked to the kitchen...

And realized I had nothing to do there!

HA!

I didn't cave though. I came home from my classes today with a MEAN headache

-Caffeine withdrawals? 

So I took some meds and made some strawberry-kiwi green tea

Hopefully this curbs my caffeine defecit! 

Onto my wod:


Today is Monday which means I'm doing ANNIE!

50-40-30-20-10
Double Unders
Sit Ups

Not very excited about the double unders - I SUCK at those!

  1. Hey Dani! Why are you quitting coffee?! I drink like 5 cups a day I could not imagine a day of my life without coffee :S As a matter of fact I'm having a cup right now while I write this words and I'm quite sure that this is my fifth cup of the day and I'm not even sure it's my last cup of the day!!!

    1. Haha I know! I LOVE LOVE my coffee.... but I am unable to drink it without adding a bunch of creamer & either honey or artificial sweeteners!!!

      I figured that is probably where my un-wanted excess calories were sneaking into my diet!

      Its sad :( BUT it will be worth it if it helps me in the long run!!!

  2. Good luck off the caffeine! I've been without coffee for about 6 weeks now and aside from being tired all the time (mostly due to staying up late/getting up early) I think it's doing me the world of good. Good luck; hopefully the withdrawal isn't too bad!
